Richmond Surveys was established in 2012 and is owned and operated by commissioned Manitoba Land Surveyor, Steve Richmond.
We provide land surveying services throughout Manitoba encompassing a wide variety of the survey sector, we can also provide construction services into Saskatchewan. By proximity we cater mostly to South Central and South West Manitoba.
Our services include cadastral and boundary surveys (subdivisions, public roads, property boundaries, etc), commercial and industrial surveys (construction as-builts, layouts, control surveys), environmental (topographic plans) and aerial (UAV) topographical surveys and imagery.
We also provide line locating services in the resource and construction sectors.
Our survey operations utilize the latest technology and training in data collection and processing. Real time kinematic (RTK) GPS, total station, and computer assisted programs form the backbone of our day to day operations in processing of data and plan generation to excel in meeting our client requirements and satisfaction. Our equipment is of the highest precision, our GPS is sub centimetre quality, our total stations are able to achieve one second (1”) angle observations, our aerial drone at 300’ AGL can produce a 3cm per pixel resolution and capable of obtaining a higher resolution if needed limited to the capability of a safe flight clear of obstructions.
Currently our company employs eight full-time staff. We are awaiting approval for our COR certification and are committed to health and safety for all our employees.
Our project supervisors combine for more than 40 plus years of experience varying from the oil and gas sector to construction and property developments. Our field crews are an integral part in maintaining excellent work relationships within the rural and urban communities.
